My heart broke when I read this piece in the NYT. So every night before bed, Luca and I have been saying little chants for all the elephants and beautiful creatures around the world that need extra protection. it's all about Luca's angelic energy...
Speaking of Luca, he and I spent an hour last night exploring flavors of sorbet. He loved the idea of having his eyes closed and trying to figure out a flavor. It's the best game with a child, getting to know their senses while having a delicious treat.
